What they are

A small family of native apps built in the Apple idiom: They look and behave like the system, and they ask for nothing they don’t need. Simple, private, and refined until you stop noticing them.

Eagle One

Eagle One is an independent app for one university campus, built by a student who got tired of checking four websites to answer one question. Dining (every hall, every station, every meal period), shuttles (live positions and arrival estimates), coursework (assignments and deadlines beside the rest of the day) and campus alerts, arranged around the day you’re actually having. Widgets put the next arrival and tonight’s menu on the home screen.

Nothing in it is official and nothing is guessed at: it reads what the university already publishes. It is on the App Store for iPhone. Eagle One is an independent, unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Boston College or TransLoc. Dining, transit, and alert information may be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on Eagle One for emergencies or safety-critical decisions.

Savory and Wishlist

Savory saves the restaurants you keep meaning to try and decides where you’re eating tonight; it can read a list of places straight off a screenshot. Wishlist saves anything from any store, watches the price, and shows every price it has ever seen so a sale that isn’t one is obvious. Both are coming soon.
